If you connect PlanSeats to an assistant such as ChatGPT, PlanSeats returns chart information to that assistant and its visual workspace to carry out the actions you request. Depending on the action, this can include guest names, seating assignments, RSVPs, meal choices, and contact, dietary or accessibility details you choose to manage. Your PlanSeats account permissions still apply, and saved edits update the same charts you use on the PlanSeats website.
When you request floorplan analysis, the selected drawing may be sent to Anthropic to identify rooms, tables and measurements. Review the result and scale before saving an imported layout. Uploaded drawings and import review files are stored in private storage; they are not published as public chart links by the import action.
You can disconnect the assistant through its connection settings. Disconnecting does not delete charts or files already saved in PlanSeats; you can request deletion using the contact details below. The assistant provider also applies its own privacy policy to information it receives.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.
